Located inside Parque de la Reserva, the Magic Water Circuit (Circuito Mágico del Agua) is one of Lima’s most popular evening attractions. Its illuminated fountains, music and laser effects transform a historic park into a vibrant nighttime experience.

Background and context

Parque de la Reserva was originally inaugurated in the early 20th century as part of Lima’s urban development. The Magic Water Circuit was added later and quickly gained international recognition for its scale and design. Today, the complex features more than a dozen interactive and choreographed fountains that blend modern technology with public space restoration.

Why visit

The Magic Water Circuit is best enjoyed after sunset, when light and music bring the fountains to life. Several water jets reach heights of up to 260 feet (80 meters), creating dramatic visual displays that appeal to both adults and children. Visitors can walk between the fountains, and some installations allow you to pass through curtains of water without getting soaked.
