Traditional Market Tour & Peruvian Cooking Class
Visit to a Market in Lima and Cooking Workshop
We’ll meet at the designated time in the central Túpac Amaru Square, and from there we’ll walk with a chef from Le Cordon Bleu to the Magdalena Market.
Once there, we’ll begin our tour of the market in a small group of no more than 8 people, selecting various exotic fruits and other ingredients from traditional Peruvian cuisine that we’ll use in the recipes we’ll be cooking.
After buying everything we need at the market, we’ll hop aboard a tuk-tuk to head to a traditional Peruvian house, where the cooking class will take place. Are you ready to enjoy a delicious culinary experience?
We’ll prepare ceviche, causa acevichada, lomo saltado, and the iconic pisco sour, while the chef shares with us the techniques, stories, and secrets behind each recipe. Your mouth will be watering! After cooking the dishes, we’ll taste the different recipes we’ve prepared.
Finally, we’ll wrap up this 3-hour culinary experience with an authentic Peruvian party featuring live music and dancing. It’ll be the perfect finishing touch! Before we say goodbye, you’ll receive a digital recipe book so you can recreate the dishes at home, along with a certificate of participation.
